We take pride in not only maintaining high safety standards in the industry, but in continually reviewing, improving and staying up to date with the latest safety standards and practices. Safety is our number one priority not only for our employees but for our customers employees as well. Therefore, we strive to maintain the safest work environment possible. Below are ways we ensure appropriate safety at our work sites.

In House Training
Each employee that is employed with JIL Mechanical Contractors receives an employee safety manual at the date of hire. Our safety manuals were written and are updated yearly by H.K. Carr & Associates, Inc. who specializes in Emergency Response Training And Consulting. In addition, we conduct monthly safety meetings that cover a variety of safety and health topics, daily job-site toolbox talks, project Job Safety Analysis (JSA) sheets as required and plant-site specific training as required. For each employee who is employed with JIL Mechanical Contractors, they are required to submit background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, drug and alcohol screenings, and each employee's Social Security numbers are verified.
Customers are also given a JIL Mechanical Contractors Safety Manual complete with OSHA 300 logs and employee-specific training.

H.K. Carr & Associates, Inc.
H.K. Carr & Associates, Inc. provides yearly training to our employees in the following areas: Confined Space Entry, Fire Extinguishers, Forklift, Scissor Lift, Manlift, HAZCOM/GHS, Lockout/Tagout, Respiratory Protection/Fit Test (to certain employees), Working with Compressed Gas and Working in Extreme Temperature.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
Each employee has been certified in OSHA 30-Hour Construction training.

ISNetworld/ Avetta
JIL Mechanical Contractors, LLC utilizes ISNetworld and Avetta to collect, review, and store its health, safety, and procurement information for both current and potential hiring clients. We are A+ rated for our current clients that use and require both ISNetworld & Avetta services.
